 Introducing Maximus, CEO of BananaBobb. A native of New Orleans, Maximus's upbringing was infused with the vibrant culture of Louisiana, from the exhilaration of Mardi Gras to the art of Cajun and Creole cooking with a love for the great outdoors. He honed his skills in the bayous of Delacroix, chasing after prized coastal fish like redfish and Speckled Trout. When not exploring the bayou, Maximus and his pro-staff can be found navigating the waters of historic City Park, seeking out bass. From a young age, Maximus fostered a deep commitment to preserving Louisiana's coastline, dedicating his time to volunteer efforts such as coastal restoration plantings through programs like Louisiana Agriculture and nonprofits like CRCL (Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana) and the Meraux Foundation. Recently, Maximus has ventured into competitive Bass Tournaments and is passionately involved in supporting initiatives like "Get Kids Hooked on Fishing". Presently, Maximus is focused on the launch of a merchandise line, with proceeds aimed at supporting coastal restoration efforts by local non-profit organizations.  organizations. 

 Bananabobb's inception was a lighthearted moment during a family vacation at a beach house in Florida in 2020. Inspired by the popular Minions movie catchphrase "Hey Bob," and the desire to offer sun protective clothing for kids, the idea began to take shape. However, it quickly evolved beyond just fishing clothing for kids and young adults on the beach. Rooted in the family's deep-seated passion for safeguarding natural resources for future generations and the shared love for outdoor adventures, Bananabobb transformed into a platform for promoting environmental conservation and awareness for Louisiana while providing practical solutions for kids that love the same passions as our CEO and his family. 

We offer a wide range of products, which focus on trends, effectiveness and comfort in and around the outdoors. We pride ourselves on sourcing the majority  of our products locally or thru a local vendor to help support our fellow small business owners.  Our performance clothes are all 50 UPF or higher rating  for maximus protection when out on the water. With each product you purchase you are directly making a positive impact on restoring Louisiana's coast line with a percentage of all proceeds going to CRCL. (Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana)  Because of you, we will have a bright future for our young outdoorsman and communities in South Louisiana. 

Our team at Bananabobb is a tight-knit group of lifelong friends and family, all hailing from New Orleans and sharing a passion for the great outdoors. Led by CEO Maximus and supported by our dedicated pro-staffers: Gianni, Gavin, Dan Michael, Bowen, and Brody, we're on a mission to share weekly tips and tricks on all things outdoors. From the latest fishing gear to the most effective lures, our collective goal is to build a brand by kids, for kids who adore spending time in nature.
